Current official update
Update 7 adds Uruhan and lets you change race later.
The current update adds playable Uruhan bearmen, a reusable race-change route, clearer quest mapping, co-op compass markers, better spell and alchemy feedback, and a direct shadow-off performance option.

Race choice is no longer permanent
- New raceUpdate 7 added Uruhan as a playable northern bearmen race.
- Changing laterA mirror on the southern shore can change your race at any time; the changeappearance command is another option.
- Playing as a non-hostA non-host can change race in their own single-player game to update their multiplayer character.
This removes the need to treat the launch character creator as your only race decision. The note also adds more dialogue reactions to the player's race.
Quest and co-op navigation
- Map guidanceQuests now mark areas correctly on the map in a TES3-style way. The patch improves area guidance without turning the game into a step-by-step waypoint route.
- Finding the partyCo-op companions now appear on the compass.
- Friendly summonsCo-op allies can hit summons without making those summons retaliate.
Spellcrafting and alchemy feedback
- Multi-effect spellsCrafted spells now use every effect on the spell.
- Ingredient learningDiscovered alchemy effects now appear in the UI.
- MerchantsPichess sells a healing spell; Krizur and one secret merchant accept stolen goods, and Krizur has a larger sales inventory.
Performance and quest fixes
- Low frame rateUpdate 7 added an option to turn off shadows for significantly improved performance.
- Inventory memoryThe inventory-menu memory leak was fixed in Update 7.
- Named questsThe Weeler With Prejudice quest was fixed in Update 7; the bancha quest was made harder to break in update 7.
Update 7 also adds a saturation slider and Skip Intro setting, improves small-screen UI responsiveness, and prevents one spoiler-sensitive NPC death from blocking the main quest.
